The world market for wind turbines reached a total capacity of 320 GW and wind now contributes around 4% of the world’s power demand. With the Government’s Renewable Energy Target Scheme (RET) increasing the renewables target use to 23.5% by 2020 and specifically 10-13% of this energy from wind, this emerging market’s demand is growing rapidly. While traditional wind markets in Europe and North America have slowed down, the Asian-Pacific, Latin American and African countries have shown great opportunity; only alluding to promising growth signs for Australia’s’ abundance of arguably the world’s best wind resources.

Many developers and operators are struggling to find the best project delivery & finance model to fast track construction and ensure project bankability, to ensure detailed design plans to maximise efficiency and minimise costs and to select, plan and approve the cost of operation and innovation in technological advancements.

With that, IQPC’s 5th Annual Wind Farms 2020 Summit has been designed to address these pressing problems and provide you with practical insights from the leading Wind Farm Operators, Wind Farm Developers, State & Federal Government, Regulators, Retailers, Transmission & Distribution Companies and prospective Solutions Providers. This conference allows the perfect opportunity to cement key partnerships and drive the industry forward in meeting the RET.
